Feeling so good about getting the Camper back after 6 months, I travel locally LOL...
The wind was blowing and a storm passing through, but the rain was holding off.
My choice of location, a farmer's field, AGAIN.
Driving past this location many times on my way to big adventures up north, I've never stopped and taken a shot, or even known if the was a shot to be had.
The skies were big and moody. was this the moment that I needed to enter the field and capture the shot?
The nice surprise was there was not one subject, but two shoot, result...
Gusting up to 50mph was going to be a challenge as my idea was to capture a long exposure. Camera shake was going to prove an issue so I decided to blend two images at different shutter speeds. The first is at 2 minutes for the fast-moving sky and the second for the subject to be sharp. With much jiggery-pokery in Photoshop, i managed to capture this shot
