Autumn is on its way, so it's prime time to get out there and get your photography juices flowing once more
Me and Garry (Suggy) Sugden ventured out in the week and spent a day at the Roaches. Suggy had never been there before and the weather not looking good till later in the day I decided to show him one or two locations in the area.
We popped up to the roaches, then back down, jumped in the van, and drove around to Ramshaw Rocks. By this time the rain was getting heavy so the Winking Man it
was for a Coke, yes a Coke, with ice and a spot of lunch. Pizza, please.
Rain still stopping play, another Coke was ordered which went down very well indeed.
Has the weather passed, we decided to go to the Ram Tank, just down the road for a quick snapshot then to the Roache end barn before heading back up to the Roaches at Hen Cloud end.
We were now two hours before sunset but the weather gods were in our favor for a change.
Was all this waiting around going to be worth it?
To be honest, it is always worth it, even if the weather doesn't play ball, scouting locations can be really productive, and fun...
