Looking Ahead to 2026 – Workshops, Experiences & Time in the Landscape
As we move forward into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to share what’s coming up here at Stain Photography and what you can expect over the year ahead.
Landscape photography, for me, has always been about slowing down, spending time in the environment, and creating meaningful images rather than rushing from location to location. That philosophy continues into all of my workshops and experiences this year.
Spring 1-to-1 Workshops
The Spring 1-to-1 workshops begin on March 8th. These sessions are completely tailored to you — your photography, your pace, and what you want to achieve.
I’ll also be running 1-to-1 Spring workshops at Cannock Chase, taking advantage of the woodland atmosphere and changing seasonal light.

Fine Art Field Workshops
My Fine Art Field Workshops start on April 16th. These are designed for photographers who want to move towards a more minimalist, fine art approach — focusing on composition, long exposures, and creating cohesive bodies of work in the field.
Walk in the Woods – Two-Hour Experience
The popular Walk in the Woods experience returns on March 6th and 7th and will continue throughout the year. These relaxed, two-hour sessions are all about enjoying time in the woodland, learning to see more creatively, and photographing without pressure.
Limited to six people per session
Ideal for all experience levels
Peak District Workshops
I’ll be heading to the Peak District for workshops on:

These sessions focus on finding calm compositions in busy locations and working with light and weather to create subtle, atmospheric images.
Autumn 1-to-1 Workshops – Cannock Chase
Autumn is one of my favourite times to be in the landscape, and I’ll be running 1-to-1 Cannock Chase workshops on:

Snowdonia 1-to-1 Workshops
Later in the year, I’ll be in Snowdonia for a series of 1-to-1 workshops, focusing on quieter locations, mood, and fine art interpretation of the landscape. Dates are:
